Co-occurring Disorder (COD) Services

Clients will meet with a counselor who is a mental health professional and a certified substance use disorder counselor. They will receive treatment addresses both their mental health and substance use issues. Once a client has received a mental health and substance use assessment, and found to meet criteria for both services, they may engage in COD services.

COD Individual Therapy

Clients will meet with a therapist to explore the barriers to recovery, learn coping skills, be held accountable, learn ways to help mend friendships, learn how to do life sober. Also, process, work through, and heal from traumatic events, frustrations, depression, and other symptoms of mental health.

  • Time of completion: One (1) hour sessions. The length of time engaged varies per client, and is based on need.
  • Location offered: Long Beach and Raymond

No one will be denied services based on inability to pay and discounts are available based on family size and income.

Co-occurring Services Cost

Medicaid, Medicare, and many other private insurances are accepted and cover these services. If the person is not insured and needs to pay cash, please see financial breakdown below.

  • Individual/Family Therapy (1 hour session): $160
