Psychiatric Medication Management

Clients may participate in a medication evaluation and be prescribed medication for mental health symptoms. After initial evaluation, the client will meet with the prescriber for 30 minute follow up sessions as recommended.

Individual Psychiatric Evaluation

A psychiatric evaluation is an evaluation designed to diagnose emotional, behavioral, or developmental conditions or disorders.

The initial evaluation will explore many aspects including developmental history, medical history, family history, social and environmental influences, academic/work concerns, and emotional and cognitive (thinking) strengths and weaknesses.

Depending on who is being evaluated – child, adolescent, or adult – there are different components involved in the psychiatric evaluation.

  • Time of completion: Approximately two (2) hours.

Individual Follow-up

Clients will meet with a psychiatric prescriber for 30 minute follow-ups to be determined by the provider in accordance with clinical best practices and industry standards.

  • Location offered: Long Beach and Raymond

No one will be denied services based on inability to pay and discounts are available based on family size and income.

Medication Management Cost

Medicaid, Medicare, and many other private insurances are accepted and cover these services. If the person is not insured and needs to pay cash, please see financial breakdown below.

  • Medication Evaluation: $250
  • Individual Follow Up (30 min) $150

*Prescriptions are picked up at the client’s pharmacy, and the client is responsible for payment in the form requested and accepted by that pharmacy.
