Amy Bailey
Amy obtained both her Bachelors and Masters degree in Social Work at the University of Kentucky and has practiced social work for the last 20 years. She worked for 14 years as a Hospice Homecare Social Worker, providing bereavement therapy and grief groups to both patient and family/caregivers. The remainder of her experience has been in working at nonprofit agencies with the homeless population along with mental health and substance use disorders.
Amy now specializes in individual, family, and group therapy throughout the life span, adolescents and adults who are experiencing depression, trauma, anxiety, mood and personality and psychotic disorders. She utilizes an individualized, person center approach of Evidence-Based modalities including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), ACT (Acceptance Commitment Therapy) and MI (Motivational Interview).
