Kathy Edison
Kathy was educated in Oklahoma as a Registered Nurse, moving on to obtain a Masters in Nursing at University of South Alabama with specialty training in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing. In addition she attends multiple psychiatric/substance use disorder conferences every year to keep abreast of all the latest and best treatments available.
Kathy has worked in the medical field for 30 years, nine of those years being in psychiatry. She has had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life, from adolescents to adults and geriatrics. Her goal is to foster a partnership with each individual in their own healing journey. Her goal is to help her clients to find and live their best lives, whether they are dealing with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, PTSD, OCD, autism, ADHD, schizoaffective or schizophrenia, substance use disorder, religious issues, or any other mental health disorders, even in the midst of chronic or terminal illness.
She chose this field because she wanted to help people. Her goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make decisions that will help you find your path.
