Description

Registration Specialist works at the front desk and greets all incoming clients and visitors; advises clinical staff of the arrival of clients with appointments or inquiries, schedules appointments. Answers all incoming telephone calls, screen and route calls to appropriate offices or personnel.

Willapa Behavioral Health is a dynamic, nationally accredited, rural behavioral health/medical clinic that is continuing to grow in supporting the needs of the community. We are seeking a compassionate, professional, flexible Registration Specialist to join our high paced team. This role will greet clients, registrar clients, arrange appointments, answer phones, utilizing the electronic medical record system.

Computer proficiency to document in electronic medical records

Able to maintain good rapport with co-workers.
Demonstrate competency in working with a diverse population.
Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in the mental health system.

Schedule: Mondays- Thursday 10 – 7 pm, Fridays 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. As an essential worker, required to work on-site.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  1. High school graduate or equivalent
  2. Ability to work collaborative with registration team, in busy office environment.
  3. Ability to use appropriate reference material effectively, e.g. standard dictionary, internet research, instruction manuals.
  4. Experience working in a medical or mental health office.
  5. Experience operating office machines; copier, fax, telephone, computer, and calculator.
  6. Minimum three years experience as a receptionist, or equivalent, in an office setting preferred.
  7. Ability to handle multiple telephone lines.
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer proficiency to document in the electronic medical record (EMR) and utilize telehealth and Microsoft office suite.
  9. Must be fully vaccinated as a health care worker
