Willapa Behavioral Health is searching for a part time Youth Partner to be part of a Wraparound with Intensive Services (WISe) team in Long Beach, WA. The Youth Partner is an equitable member of the WISe team whose role is to partner with the youth to help support their engagement and active participation in making informed decisions to drive the WISe process. Youth Partners are qualified through their lived experience and knowledge of community resources and the wraparound or WISe process. In general, WISe is for youth who are experiencing mental health symptoms that disrupt or interfere with their functioning in family, school or with peers.
This position assists with intensive care coordination services for clients and families consisting of individual, group, family counseling, crisis intervention, and case management services. The ideal candidate is able to demonstrate recovery and serve as an ambassador, providing guidance and advocacy to child and family service systems.
This position assists with creating the Plan of Care for the family, the team, and the work to be undertaken to meet the family’s needs.
Youth Partners must complete all required progress notes in the electronic medical record according to WBH guidelines, policies and procedures regarding format, content and timeliness.
Willapa Behavioral Health provides outpatient services, is nationally accredited, and provides high quality care with experienced professionals to the Pacific County since 1986. Services include program include adult, child & family services, chemical and problem gambling treatments, co-occurring disorders, medically addicted treatment. In addition, a critical service to Pacific County, WBH provides 24/7 Mobile Crisis Services. Willapa Behavioral Health has grown adding new locations and positions, expanding from 2 locations to currently 5 locations in the past year.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Certification Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be a self-identified, past consumer of mental health services and/or involvement with a mental health system.
- Youth Partners are qualified through their lived experience and their knowledge of community resources and the wraparound or WISe process. Specifically, to be accepted as a WISe Youth Partner, you must have lived experience as a participant in Youth Behavioral Health Services and other involvement in cross systems. Skills Required:
- Demonstrated computer competency and time management skills
- Able to maintain good rapport with co-workers
- Demonstrate competency in working with a diverse population
- Demonstrated background of upholding professional conduct and retaining confidentiality of clients information
- Drivers License that meets minimum requirements by WBH insurance company
- Must work on site or at designated locations meeting clients in person
