The Chief Clinical Officer (CCO), stationed in Long Beach, WA provides on-site leadership to all clinical departments managers at all WBHW locations to include Mental Health, Substance Use Disorders, Co-occurring Disorders, Wrap Around Intensive Services (WISe), Mobile Crisis Services, and School Based Program. The CCO reports directly to the CEO,  and is a member of the Executive Team. They ensure excellence in people centered care with quality-of-service delivery and the development of programs based on the diverse community needs. In addition, the CCO monitors service delivery to ensure services reflect client recovery plans and meet the local, county, regional, and state policies and procedure; and represents the agency in a positive and professional manner.

The CCO helps to plan, implement, coordinate, and supervise the clinical services under the supervision of the CEO; ensures quality clinical services are provided; prepares reports as required. Supervise and monitor all documentation activities for the clinical programs in keeping with Agency philosophy and policies, and State and County guidelines. They will maintain, oversee, and participate in QI activities. Provide leadership in assuring policies & procedures are kept up to date based on the regulatory environment and responding to audits.  They may also provide limited direct client services to assure relevance of policies and procedures and understanding of clinical electronic medical record system. The CCO may represent the CEO in clinical internal or community meetings.

 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Master’s degree in Social Work.
  2. Minimum of five years direct clinical experience plus a minimum of three years administrative or supervisory experience. 
  3. Current registered/certification/ license. 
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer proficiency to document in the electronic medical record (EMR) and utilize telehealth and Microsoft office suite.
  5. Undergo and pass criminal background check upon initial employment and any subsequent checks required by the agency.
  6. Meet requirements of agency’s drug free workplace policy.
  7. Excellent customer service with a client focus.
  8. Able to sit, stand and move for long hours at a time and lift up to 25 pounds.
  9. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle and be able to meet requirements to be insurance on WBHW insurance plan.
  10. Able to drive in daylight, darkness, and typical Northwest weather conditions.
  11. Flexibility to provide limited client care.
  12. Meet the current Washington health care vaccination requirements for health care workers.
