Description

The Crisis Case Manager (CCM) is responsible for responding to and/or coordinating a response to all crises during the shifts associated with position.  Full time position.  Day Shift:  Wed. Thursday, Fri. Sat 8 am – 7 pm, Wed. or Evening Shift Thursday, Friday, Sat. 6 pm – 8:30 am.  All Staff Meeting at 8 am.  The CCM provides crisis follow-up services until the crisis is resolved or the person is enrolled into the Mental Health system.  In addition, provide hospital liaison activities for all hospitalized persons from Pacific County; responsible for monitoring least restrictive alternatives (LRAs) and work with hospitals and providing follow- up services to clients being released back to the community or inpatient mental health facilities.   

  • $500 sign-on bonus upon hire
  • Competitive salary, including pay for performance – eligible for Pay for Performance quarterly bonus of $500.00 per quarter, $240.00 wellness initiative, and $500.00 annual for self-development workshops. Training enhancing organizational goals paid at 100%.
  • National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program site $50,000 – 2 years’ service available to mental health therapists and SUD counselors.

Willapa Behavioral Health is an outpatient treatment provider. We are nationally accredited and have provided high quality care with experienced professionals to Pacific County since 1986. Services include mental health programs for adults, children & families, case management, chemical and problem gambling treatments, peer services, domestic violence perpetrator treatment, co-occurring disorders, medically assisted treatment, psychiatric prescribing, trauma sensitive primary care, and 24/7 mobile crisis services. We have grown, to three locations, and feel that that is the sweet spot for us. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Agency Affiliated Counselor with 90 days
  2. Bachelor level in a related field, or Associate level with two years of experience in the mental health or related fields.
  3. Certified Peer Support Specialist within 6 months
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer proficiency to document in the electronic medical record (EMR) and utilize telehealth and Microsoft office suite
  5. Undergo and pass criminal background check upon initial employment and any subsequent checks required by the agency
  6. Meet requirements of agency’s drug free workplace policy
  7. Excellent customer service with a client focus
  8. Able to sit, stand and move for long hours at a time and lift up to 25 pounds
  9. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  10. Able to drive in daylight, darkness, and typical Northwest weather conditions
  11. Flexible to fill-in shifts if needed
  12. Compliance with health care regulations immunization requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Two years’ experience in mental health or related field
  2. Licensed mental health counselor, LMHC(A), LMFT(A), LICSW(A)

Skills Required:

  • Demonstrated computer competency and time management skills
  • Able to maintain good rapport with co-workers
  • Demonstrate competency in working with a diverse population
  • Demonstrated background of upholding professional conduct and retaining confidentiality of client’s information
  • Driver’s License that meets minimum requirements by WBH insurance company
