About the Position

Willapa Behavioral Health and Wellness is searching for a full-time, compassionate Wrap Around Intensive Services Therapist to work with youth near the Pacific Coast in Montesano, WA.

  • Schedule Options: 4 days 10 hour shifts, or 5 days 8 hour shifts.
  • Moving Assistance/Sign on Bonus: Up to $2,000 based on distance of relocation.
  • Salary: $25.00 – 33.00 plus pay for performance up to additional $2,000/year based on degree and experience.
  • Benefits:
    • Pay for performance eligible for $500.00 per quarter.

About Willapa Behavioral Health:

An outpatient treatment provider, nationally accredited, offering high-quality care since 1986. Services include mental health programs for adults, children & families, and a range of other treatments and services.

Location Advantages:

Quick access to the coast and beautiful landscape. The Montesano area offers affordable housing, beautiful views, and outdoor activities. Approximately 3 hours from Portland and 2 hours from Seattle.

Duties:

Provide children and their families with intensive mental health care. Perform assessment, coordinate care, provide community outreach, and develop support in a culturally competent manner.

Qualifications

  • Educational Requirement: MA in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, or related field.
  • Preferred Certifications: Washington State Certification as a Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS) or equivalent.
  • Licenses Preferred: Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), LICSW, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or equivalent.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Current driver’s license, working vehicle, able to drive occasionally.
    • Compliance with health care regulations and immunization requirements.
    • Local travel to schools, homes, in the community.

Skills Required:

  • Demonstrated computer competency and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries and confidentiality.
  • Good rapport with co-workers.
  • Competency in working with a diverse population.
  • Upholding professional conduct.
