What to Expect During a MAT Session
You will meet with a medication provider who specializes in medically assisted treatment for a 30-minute session. During your session, our provider will evaluate your mental health and drug use history to ensure you meet the proper criteria for successful treatment. In addition, we will perform an observed urine analysis before prescribing any medications. If our provider believes you meet the required criteria for treatment, they will help determine medication dosages, medication effectiveness, and any potential side effects.
